Sodal Sodal, il protagonista di questo conturbante e turbolento romanzo di Tedoldi, in quale malefica morsa viene stretto per finire dentro un processo kafkiano ribaltato (qui è il premio a essere esiziale) che lo scaglia (esponenzialmente, come in Kafka) dalla mansione di vice pulitore di bagni della Axum fino alle posizioni apicali? E chi potrà salvarlo dal naufragio, la sua Miranda che piega oggetti con la forza della mente o il fratello che non riesce a trarre dal seme delle sue speculazioni di filosofia musicale una prestazione convincente da direttore di orchestra? Phallus Dei è un racconto biforcato e un po’ biforcuto tra incantesimi e decantazioni, che rende giustizia all’astrazione alternando concreto e astratto, che ingaggia serialità (le cene al Kraepelin) e sprigiona diffrazioni (i diversi movimenti della Rapsodia fallica) e che fa di un falloeccentrismo dilagante un organo espressivo vivissimo, sensibilissimo, vulner- abilissimo a servizio della letteratura, di quella pratica cioè per captare il sistema nervoso del mondo e tradurlo attraverso composizioni di parole in una musica (in una teoria e una esecuzione musicale congiunte).
